Right Here Right now,,,

Hey Lovelies

I'm going to be linking up with Jenna from Dearest Love & Jenna from A Mamma Collective for their coffee date. So what better excuse for a good ole catch up? I'll put the kettle on, how do you take your tea?

So where am I at?

Well this week I officially moved out of my final year university house and I now officially live with Andy and his mum. Which is weird, because Andy isn't in the country. Right now our room is chaos! There are boxes and bags everywhere and I'm not sure exactly when I'll sort them all out or where everything is going to go. But I kind of love that I'm now sharing an address with the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. And in 9 days (yey single figures) he'll be back with me.

Being without him this month has been totally hard, I have new found respect for anyone that does long distance. My life just hasn't felt quite right without him. I've missed just having him around the mundane bits.. plus moving heavy boxes would have been easier with some help!! But it's made me think a lot about who I am as an individual and how important it to grow not just a relationship but yourself too. I'm looking for ways to get some much needed "me time", making news friends, joining a club etc. It's purposeful, I don't want living together to become a "Laura & Andy Bubble", y'know? How did you combat that?

Work is pretty good. I feel like I'm learning each and every day and become more confident in my abilities. There is definitely room for growth there and I'm hoping that soon enough I'll be able to utilise some other skills- but I'll have to keep you posted on that.

I've also lovedddd my other job this month! We've been having youth cafe at the local park every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening and it's given me such an opportunity to meet new young people, interact with them where they're at, learn from them and just be around them. Yesterday we just hung out on the zip wire and talked- I'm going to miss seeing them each week when my schedule changes in September. But it reminded me why I spent three years training. Young people are amazing. There's a whole blog post in that!

Talking of blogging! I saw a preview of the banners for Twentea Something this week (read all about the rebrand here). Honestly, guys... I welled up! My friend Callum is SUPER talented. I gave him the most basic, sparse idea and he just ran with it. The banner & corresponding button are SOOOO cute. I cannot wait to reveal all. You can also follow all updates by liking the facebook page,

I am still so in love with blogging, it makes me so happy and I've met some incredible people through it this week I met up with Hayley & Claire, girls I'd never have met if it wasn't for the blogging community.

I think that's kind of it. It all seems pretty positive hey? You know... I was pretty grumpy before I started typing and now I realise life is prettttyyyy great right now. Ok, your turn now... grab a biscuit and tell me what's up with you!?

Until next time...
